Tangrams Instructions

Note: If you want your puzzle attempts and edits to be saved for all time, register and sign in.

The object of Tangrams is to match the puzzle pieces to the puzzle silhouette by moving, rotating and flipping the pieces. To move a piece, click and drag it. To rotate a piece, right click on it and move the mouse sideways. To flip a piece (parallelogram only), click the flip icon that appears on the piece.

To try another puzzle, click on one of the puzzles on the side bar. If you want to try a different puzzle set, click the (switch) link on the side bar, and select a number in square brackets.

You can also make your own puzzles. Click the pencil button on the side bar and create puzzles by arranging the pieces, typing a save name, and clicking the save button. If you want your puzzle to be playable by other users, click the publish button. To switch back to game mode, click the arrow button.
